The Kangaroo Flat Community Enterprise undertook to develop a Community Plan for Kangaroo Flat.

Aims of the plan include:

  • Community Resilience – improving the access to health and wellbeing in the community.
  • Education and Training – harnessing the diverse but significant education facilities within the community.
  • Sport and Recreation – enhancing, upgrading and developing a blueprint for future needs.
  • Shopping and Retail – revitalising and expanding retailing facilities.
  • Transport and Movement – improving access for all the community.
  • Township Appearance and Structure – creating a visual sense of place.
  • Natural Environment – harnessing and enhancing the natural bush setting.
  • Sustainability, Water and Climate Change – promoting more responsible and innovative use of our natural resources.
